InterPlay Life Practice Program
The InterPlay® Life Practice Program is an active creative way to unlock the wisdom of your body.
Learn to shape your life in the ways that work best for you. Minimize stress. Maximize ease.
Learn the importance of community to support change – it is so much easier than going it alone. As you change, your relationships, your communities, your world will change.
InterPlay® is easy, incremental, and affirming. It is playful and engaging and sometimes irreverent. It is powerful and moving and sometimes challenging. It builds on strengths rather than focusing on limitations. Who knew that change could be so much fun?
In the Life Practice Program, formerly called Leadership Level 1, you will learn the core elements of the InterPlay® system – ideas and practices to help you move from where you are to where you want to be. Learn the whole InterPlay® system!
InterPlay® will teach you how to pay attention to all levels of your experience – mind, body, heart and spirit – to see how you can thrive when all those parts are working together.
The InterPlay® Life Practice Program includes:
- “The Secrets of InterPlay®,” a multiple-day retreat presented in several locations each year where you will be immersed in the InterPlay® philosophy and practice. Find out when and where these retreats are happening.
- regular group meetings (either monthly or bi-monthly) for play, presentation, discernment, and interaction, where you will have a chance to explore new options in a supportive community
- three focus sessions during which you receive personal support from the program leaders to get more of what you want
- reading and writing assignments which will help you apply InterPlay® insights to your own life.
In addition, you will be asked to accumulate 50 hours of InterPlay® experience, including at least one “untensive” (a multiple-day retreat) in your region. These hours are not included in the program tuition.
Although some previous experience with InterPlay® is encouraged, there are no prerequisites for taking part in the InterPlay® Life Practice Program.
The program is offered in several cities across the country. If you live in an area where there is no local program, we offer an “away” version which includes attending 3- or 4-day retreats we call “Untensives.”
Life Practice Programs are beginning soon in the following locations.

“InterPlay gently uncovers the core self layer by layer, inviting it to play in fullness in community. This process strengthens connection to joy and life energy.”
— Elizabeth Clontz, LCSW
