Presenting the 2016 Triangle Spirit of InterPlay Award

Posted on Sep 28, 2016

The Triangle, NC InterPlay community has chosen Ken and Stacy Miller to receive this year’s Spirit of InterPlay award. The Spirit of InterPlay Award was established by Body Wisdom, Inc. to celebrate the leaders in local communities and around the country who embody and share the spirit of InterPlay.

Words that describe Ken and Stacy’s many contributions to InterPlay over the years are strong, consistent, embodied leadership and a willingness to step in wherever needed on behalf of the InterPlay community.

Here are some of the ways they have served our InterPlay community:

  • Long time members of Off The Deep End Ensemble
  • Leading Playgroups in Raleigh and Durham
  • Participating and/or leading monthly Spirit Play sessions
  • Mentoring InterPlay Life Practice Program participants
  • Mentoring leaders-in-training in the Leader Training Program
  • Leading the Experienced InterPlay Group
  • Serving on the Playground, the Triangle InterPlay organizing group
  • Organizing events for and hosting visiting InterPlay leaders
  • Leading at InterPlay Untensives

Other community leaders often turn to Ken and Stacy when there is a need for wise advice and counsel on issues within the InterPlay community. They have given generously of their time, energy and creativity to help InterPlay thrive and they are a consistent, steadying and grounding influence for our InterPlay community.

Congratulations, Ken and Stacy, and thank you for your generous, artful spirits. The Spirit of InterPlay Award will be presented on Saturday, Oct. 1 during our International Day of InterPlay fundraiser and celebration.
