Give InterPlay Day is here
Hi! I'm Brian, a member of the Playground, which coordinates InterPlay activities provided by leaders across the Triangle. Last month, I had the opportunity to attend the Spring Untensive. Due to the pandemic, this event was postponed from its traditional New Year's time and was being offered in person for the first time in 2 years. I was concerned that I had lost my ability to dance, to tell stories, or to sing. I was relieved to find that these natural ways of creativity and connection were still in my body. Surrounded by so many wonderful friends that I hadn't seen in so long, it was as if the last 2 years never happened. I left with a sense of healing and immense gratitude for the many gifts that InterPlay offers.
Give InterPlay Day is an online fundraiser where you can support transformational InterPlay projects that are envisioning and creating more ease, grace, connection, equity, justice, and body wisdom. Triangle InterPlay is requesting donations toward sustaining our InterPlay activities and outreach, and providing scholarships for InterPlay programs to more individuals, especially from communities of color and millennials. As International BIPOC Liaison Masanko Banda says in InterPlay's new video, "InterPlay needs to be in as many communities as possible." Thank you for your help!
